Terms of Use

Last updated: November 4, 2026

The short version. Use Veil lawfully and don't abuse our network. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple, which you can cancel anytime in your Apple account settings. We work hard to keep Veil fast and available, but we can't guarantee it will always be.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and NITROBITE S.R.L., Chișinău, Republic of Moldova (“we”, “us”), the provider of Veil VPN (“Veil” or the “Service”). By downloading or using Veil you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Veil.

Veil is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). If these Terms and the Apple EULA conflict, these Terms apply to the extent permitted by the Apple EULA.

2. The Service

Veil creates an encrypted VPN connection between your device and our servers. The free plan gives access to a selection of server locations and is supported by ads. Veil Premium gives access to all server locations, removes ads and unlocks features such as Kill Switch and Auto Connect.

We may add, change or remove server locations and features over time. A VPN protects your connection; it does not make you anonymous in every situation and does not protect against malware, phishing or websites you sign in to.

3. Premium subscriptions

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Veil to:

We may suspend or block access to the Service, including for a specific installation, if we reasonably believe these rules are being broken or to protect the Service and other users.

5. Ads

The free plan shows ads provided by third parties, such as Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the websites and apps they link to.

6. Intellectual property

Veil, its software, design and brand are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the Apple EULA.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Veil fast and available, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Speeds depend on your network, your location and the server you use. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, by events outside our control, or because access to VPN services is restricted where you are. You are responsible for making sure that using a VPN is lawful in your country.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for Veil in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Ending these Terms

You can stop using Veil at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription in your Apple account. We may end or suspend your access if you break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) continue after termination.

10. Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Veil or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal requirements, or intellectual property claims. If Veil fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring proceedings there.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the date above, and for significant changes we will also let you know in the app. If you keep using Veil after an update, the updated Terms apply.
